Course Content	This exciting new course, designed as a gateway to employment in web design, web support, digital arts, computer-based graphics-oriented work in general, or to more specialised degree opportunities, provides a solid skill set for anyone with an interest in the digital media future. Core subjects include: Planning for the use of interactive media; Project team-working; Describing interactive media (including Animation); User Interface Design; Digital Imaging (both Bitmap and Vector images); and an exam-based assessment of three core subjects (Graded Unit 1). Optional subjects may include using digital audio and media, client-side scripting (XHTML), using SQL to manage databases, and using IT application software to support the core subjects." Entry Requirements	2 relevant Highers or equivalent plus Standard Grade English and Mathematics or NC Computing at Intermediate 2 with Communications at Intermediate 2. Subject to interview, diagnostic testing and 2 satisfactory references. Applicants without formal academic qualifications will be invited for interview
