Creative Knitting for Beginners
This contemporary knitting class will teach you various knitted stitches to enable you to tackle not only various types of knitted designs using your new found creative flare and skills, but also your own designs. Each week you will build up your own collection of samples of classic knitted stitches using a variety of different mediums.

No formal entry requirements. This course is ideal for beginners, however, all are welcome.

Course Content
You will learn various stitches including, knit, garter, purl, moss, slip and cable stitch. Participants will use this to build up a collection of samples of classic knitted stitches each week, using a variety of different mediums, eg, wool / string / binding, etc. and explore how to embellish samples further using Lurex yarns, beads and sequins.
You will use your various knitted squares to create a finished item, such as a cushion cover, scarf or wall hanging.
