Understanding techniques of Data Security, Digital forensics and Ethical Hacking is important in ensuring that learners are aware of their responsibilities within the virtual community.

Delivery

The course is a schools link delivery on campus one day a week, for 28 weeks. There will be some hybrid learning opportunities and this will be flexible throughout the delivery.

Entry requirements

Applications should have an NPA in Cyber Security at SCQF Level 5.Applicants with no formal qualifications will be considered on an individual basis and their applications or enquiries are encouraged.

Candidates will be supported through the application process by their individual schools and applications will be reviewed by the curriculum team following this. A full, detailed personal statement is important at this stage. Candidates are provided with the opportunity to ask further questions about the course and college support services through their various school support teams.
