SVQ in Trees and Timber at SCQF Level 5

Delivery

36 weeks with a mixture of on campus teaching and extended work placement

Location

Newtown St Boswells campus and on local estates

Entry requirements

Progression from the Level 5 Forestry NPA or Introduction to Countryside Skills or any other relevant course

Progression opportunities

Learners may progress onto a higher level course at SRUC Barony or join the MA scheme

Career Prospects

Employment on local estates or forestry companies with the option of apprenticeships
