Students with a disability

The College welcomes applications from people with disabilities.  We encourage applicants to disclose to us if they have a disability at the earliest possible opportunity.  This allows us to discuss any barriers that the disability may create for the learner and agree with them any reasonable adjustment that will help them to be successful in their studies.  We are proud of the achievements of our learners with disabilities whose pass rates are just as high as any other students at the College.

All of our Campuses are modern facilities than can be easily access for people with mobility difficulties.

We are always interested in ideas as to how we could improve our services for people with disabilities.  If you have an idea or a complaint about our services please contact David Killean email: dkillean@borderscollege.ac.uk who is the Vice Principal responsible for disability services.

You can also contact our Student Advice Centre who will be happy to help you with any query regarding disability Telephone: 01896 662506 or email: studentwelfare@borderscollege.ac.uk
