This award includes 8 credits studied at SCQF Level 8, including: Leadership and Team Working, Integrated Working and Collaborative Practice, Policy to Practice, Pedagogical Approaches, and Enhanced Professional Practice.

Entry Requirements

Students must have completed HNC Early Education and Childcare or HNC Childhood Practice, or a Scottish Nursery Nurse Education Board or SVQ Level 3 Early Years or equivalent qualifications, plus have relevant work experience in the early years sector.

Progression Opportunities

Successful completion of this course may enable students to apply for a Degree in Childhood Studies, or professional development at SCQF Level 9 at Higher Education institutions.
