Horse Care Career Open Day at Ian Stark’s 2017

As the Common Riding and Festival season approaches everyone with an interest in all things horsey are invited to attend the Borders College Horse Care Open Day at the Ian Stark Equestrian Centre (ISEC) near Selkirk on Wednesday 3rd May 2017 from 2pm – 7pm.


Students on the various Horse Care courses available from Borders College spend the majority of their time at the former Olympian’s riding School near Selkirk, learning both the practical and theoretical sides of the equine industry. The Open Day is an ideal opportunity to see the facilities and talk to students and staff about the courses on offer.

Course Tutor Alison Robertson commented: “We are extremely lucky to have the use of the facilities at ISEC and are immensely proud of the success of our students who have achieved not only their national qualifications but also won the Lantra Equine Learner of the year for the last five years as well as been runner up twice.”

The open day is also supported by: Floors Castle Horse Trials, ISEC, Lantra and Carrs Billington.
