BASE student to represent Scotland’s under 20s in Wales
A current BASE Rugby Level 3 student, Russell Anderson, has been selected for tonight’s game against Wales Under 20s at Colwyn Bay.
Russell, who will start as number 16 on the bench, is in his second year on the Borders College BASE Rugby course.
Programme leader of the BASE Rugby Course Richie Gray said “the chance to play in front of 3500 spectators is a great opportunity for Russell. And we hope that just like fellow ex-student Stuart Hogg that he gets on the pitch for his first cap”.
Russell who regularly plays for Galashiels RFC has 35 points attributed to him so far this season.
All the very best of luck to both Russell and Stuart Hogg who represent their country this weekend.
