Business programme success
Borders Business Programme (BBP) students who studied on the collaborative Borders College and Heriot-Watt University BA in Business Management programme, who progressed to Edinburgh Campus for Honours this academic year, have achieved outstanding results.
Student, Paul Wight, who gained a First Class honours when interviewed said: "The Borders Business Programme benefited my degree in a number of ways. The small class sizes at the Borders Campus allowed students to participate more during lectures and tutorials. It was a lot easier to ask questions and seek help when it was needed. The range of courses we were taught during 1st to 3rd year also helped give me a good understanding of business. All of this meant it was relatively easy transferring to Edinburgh Campus in Fourth year.”
The BBP staff and students recently produced a DVD to highlight the opportunities the Borders Business Programme can offer and the many benefits of studying at Scottish Borders Campus.
