Borders College Workwise 2 student, Sophie Todd, has been on work placement in the George department of ASDA, one day per week. Recently she was approached by a customer for help and unknown to Sophie the customer was in fact a mystery shopper who was scoring Sophie.
The mystery shopper, because of the pleasant and efficient way Sophie dealt with the enquiries awarded Sophie with a full 100% score.
Sophie is the first ever Workwise student to achieve this score, a significant achievement as Sophie has health, literacy and colour sensitivity difficulties.
In recognition of her great customer service, she was presented with a £20 voucher and a special "Happy Shopper" badge to wear when at placement by Hazel Heard, ASDA George Manager.
Karen Turner one of Sophie's ASDA George colleagues and mentor said "Sophie has fitted in really well and is a great addition to the team here at George"
