Students visit Cardrona Hotel

The NC Administration and Tourism students and their lecturer Sharon Johnston visited the Cardrona Hotel, near Peebles recently.

As part of their course these students study Travel and Tourism, Front of Office and Central Services units. This visit provided an excellent opportunity for all students to see how the different areas within the hotel are organised.

Colin Grieve, Operations/Duty Manager was happy to show them around the hotel and gave them an insight into the many areas that have to be managed in order to keep the hotel running smoothly.

Student Sara Drape, commented “I enjoyed the visit to Cardrona Hotel as it was a great chance to see what it was like to work in the MacDonald company. The Cardrona Hotel is well planned and it also has a lovely view from all angles.”
