Students to the rescue
After the most recent snow fall students from the Borders College 'School Plus Programme' came to the rescue of the residents of Frank Scott Court in Hawick. The students along with Tutor Andrew Johnson cleared snow from the paths and car park areas before putting down grit to make the walking conditions for residents and visitors less treacherous.
All of the 13 students are attending college one day a week from Hawick High School. The students are pictured with the Warden and Course Tutor after the work was completed.
