Upbeat Party Prom
On Thursday 10th December 2009, a group of students from the Higher Business and Administration course also known as UPBEAT held their first Christmas Prom in The Union at Borders College as part of their Business Enterprise Activity Project and in order to raise money for “The Difference” Kidney Dialysis Appeal.
The event was a great success with over 50 people attending and thoroughly enjoying the evening as well as £150 being raised for the Appeal.
The UPBEAT group consisting of Dean Fisher, Kristy Allan, Christopher Svensson, Tracy Osborne, Courtney Oliver, Sarah Moffat and Hannah Beaton all played a vital part in organising the event.
The group would also to say a big thank you to all the students and staff who supported the event and a special thanks goes to Mark Basford the DJ for helping us out at short notice
The group are planning another event hopefully to be held after the main examinations in May/June. Look out for more information on the event!
