Qualifications

The course comprises 4 mandatory units and 4 optional units. The mandatory units cover: Managing and developing yourself and your workforce within Care Services, leading and managing practice that promotes the safeguarding of individuals, leading and managing practice for health and safety in the working environment, leading and managing effective communication systems and practice. 4 optional units can be chosen from a range of options suited to the work place. To achieve the Modern Apprenticeship candidates must also achieve a threshold of 20 SCQF credits for Technical Apprenticeships.

Delivery

At your workplace - our Borders College Assessor will guide you every step of the way, visiting regularly and providing personalised tutoring and support. Start dates are all year round. We work with people individually therefore start dates are negotiable.
