Professional Development Award (PDA) at level 7. This course is designed to enhance the skills that students already have and includes the following content: Construction Technical Communication Skills, New and Sustainable Building Technologies, Timber Stairs with Winders, Specialist Doors, Windows and Screens, Complex Pitched Roofs, High Class Finishings, Site Measuring and Setting Out Procedures.
Qualifications
Advanced Craft Certificate in Carpentry and Joinery at SCQF Level 7
Delivery
36 weeks at 1 day per week, including a twilight class

Entry requirements
Completion of Carpentry and Joinery: Modern apprenticeship Year 2 or equivalent.
