Launch of New Renewable and Energy Efficiency Training Centres

A Virtual Launch Event for new Renewable & Energy Efficiency Training Centres across nine of Scotland’s Colleges is taking place on Thursday 24 June 2021 (11 am-12 pm).

The online event will celebrate the launch of the new centres and provide you with information on accessing the facilities and training available.

This initiative has been supported by SP Energy Network’s Green Economy Fund in partnership with ESP and has allowed significant capital investment in:

•    Renewable and energy efficiency equipment
•    Staff training and CPD in current and emerging technologies
•    Curriculum development

Colleges will now be able to offer training to the next generation of renewable professionals – helping Scotland reach its Net Zero target.
