At Borders College we are delighted to offer Community classes at our main campuses and outreach centres throughout the Scottish Borders. You can study at a venue close to you.

COURSE INFORMATION - Find out about your course.
To get information about the courses we offer please click on the 'Information Button', select 'EVENING AND COMMUNITY COURSES', then choose the course of your choice.
BOOKING YOUR COURSE – Places are allocated on a first come first served basis. Early booking is recommended to avoid disappointment.
POSTAL BOOKINGS – Please complete the enclosed booking form and send along with payment (no cash) to Borders College, 6 Market Place, Jedburgh, TD8 6AP.
TELEPHONE BOOKINGS – Call our Booking Hotline on 01896 662603 between 0900 and 1600, Monday to Friday. We accept payment by most major credit and debit cards. Telephone lines will be open from 8 August 2017.
WHAT HAPPENS IF MY CLASS DOES NOT RUN? – If your class is not going to run you will be notified and an appropriate refund will be made. In order to help us contact you please supply an email address and a day time telephone number.
DO I HAVE TO PAY? – Students in receipt of certain benefits or a low income may not have to pay fees for Certificate and Computing courses although they will be required to pay a 25% deposit at the time of booking. The deposit will be refunded once the student has attended 25% of their course and has also provided appropriate benefit/low income evidence at point of booking. Students will be required to send a copy of their evidence to Borders College within 2 weeks of the course start date.
Failure to attend the required 25% of the course and provide the correct evidence will result in the student being liable to pay the full cost of the course with the deposit no longer being refundable.

If you are over the age of 60 you may be able to claim a 50% discount on Computing and IT classes. Please note this offer cannot be used in conjunction with any other offer/funding.
REFUND & WITHDRAWAL – Please refer to our Fee Policy, which is available on our website
COMPANY SCHEME – If you are employed by a company who has an arrangement with Borders College please ask your Personnel Department for a voucher. The company should have a list of courses and costs available. They will also supply you with a voucher to be presented at the time of booking.
