We are looking for individuals who share our commitment to providing the best possible learning experience, who can represent the interests of the Borders economy and communities and who would particularly welcome applications from currently under-represented groups. The essential criterion is for you to have an appropriate level of commitment, knowledge and experience to add value to the deliberations and work of the Board.
We welcome applicants from many different backgrounds within the Borders economy as well as those with experience in the wider education, public, private and third sectors. If you have a background in health and social care, tourism and hospitality, sustainable construction, land-based and rural economy or human resources and marketing, we’d love to hear from you. Never served on a Board before? We provide induction, mentoring, training and ongoing support to all Board members.
