Statement from Borders College Principal – Pete Smith
It is with deep sadness that we acknowledge the death of Queen Elizabeth II at the age of 96. Our thoughts are with the Royal Family at this sad time.
I know that many people within our wider College community will be devastated by the news of the passing of Britain’s longest-serving monarch. It is a profoundly sad moment for us all to witness.
In the coming days and weeks, I am sure we will come together to reflect on the life of Her Majesty and celebrate a life serving the people of the Commonwealth.
