Course Content

Our course will help novice users recognise and reduce those dangers. You will also learn how to optimise performance and carry out routine maintenance.


Equipment Maintenance Essentials

Wewill focus on practical maintenance skills to keep your machinery running smoothly and safely. Topics include:

  • Cleaning and replacing spark plugs, air filters, fuel filters, oil, and oil filters (where applicable)
  • Identifying and servicing grease points
  • Lubricating levers, cables, and other moving components
  • Sharpening blades (where suitable; some may require specialist services)
  • Changing strimmer heads or blades
  • Cleaning procedures and preparing equipment for winter storage

Safety & Strimmer Use


We will cover key health and safety considerations followed by hands-on instruction in the safe and effective use of strimmers.

Safety Equipment will be made available for the duration of the course delivery.
