This bespoke Cafe to Career: Hospitality & Tourism Training for Tomorrow pathway to Employability program offers a structured and engaging 8-week experience, designed to prepare individuals for entry into the hospitality and tourism sectors.

Delivered by Borders College in partnership with Works Plus, the program combines accredited training, employability workshops, and real-world work placements to ensure participants are fully equipped to access employment opportunities in the Berwickshire region.

Qualifications

Upon successful completion, candidates will achieve the following awards;

  • Royal Environmental Health Institute of Scotland (REHIS) - Elementary Food Hygiene
  • Royal Environmental Health Institute of Scotland (REHIS) - First Aid at Work
  • Royal Environmental Health Institute of Scotland (REHIS) - Scottish Personal Licence Holder

Delivery

This course will be delivered in Eyemouth onMonday andTuesday from 09:00 to 16:00. Time throughout the delivery will be identified to support candidates access work placement opportunities across the Berwickshire region.

Successful applicants will be formally enrolled and provided with a confirmed start date to begin their award.
