This course is open to anyone looking to develop essential skills for employment or progression into further education. Candidates should preferably hold qualifications at SCQF Level 4 or equivalent, as this will provide a solid foundation for the learning content.If you do not currently hold these qualifications but have relevant experience or a strong interest in developing your digital and employability skills, we still encourage you to apply, we willl support you to succeed.

Completing Career Launch Essentials does not just prepare you for employment, it also creates clear pathways for further study within the college. This course provides the foundation to progress into a range of sector-specific programs, including IT and Networking, Business and Administration, and other vocational areas where digital and employability skills are essential.Whether you choose to continue your education or move directly into work, this course is your first step toward a successful future.

Applications will be reviewed by the curriculum team and candidates will be invited to interview to follow up on the information contained within to confirm suitability. A full, detailed personal statement is important at this stage. Candidates are provided with the opportunity to ask further questions about the course and college support services at the interviews.
