Entry requirements

Entry is open to students who have successfully completed:

  • HND in Business (or an equivalent SCQF Level 8 qualification in a relevant discipline)
  • Typically Grade CB in HND Graded Units

Application and Interview Process

All applications will be reviewed by the Borders College delivery team to ensure entry requirements and eligibility criteria are met. Admission to the course sits with Borders College.
Successful applicants will be formally enrolled and given a confirmed start date.

Course Content

You will study 120 credits at SCQF Level 9 across the following modules:

Project Management (20 credits)
Learn how to plan, deliver and evaluate real projects using professional tools and industry frameworks.
Selection, Assessment and Career Coaching (20 credits)
Explore recruitment, assessment and employee development, with hands on experience through a mock assessment centre.
Marketing Communications and Digital Advertising (20 credits)
Analyse digital marketing strategies, evaluate brand communication and produce a creative online marketing output.

Research Methods (Online) (20 credits)
Develop skills in qualitative and quantitative research, preparing you for Honours level study and workplace investigation.
New Enterprise Start-Up (40 credits)
A substantial practice based module where you design, plan and defend a business idea simulating a real entrepreneurial funding scenario with expert support from stakeholders.
