Entry requirements

There are no formal academic entry requirements; however, learners should:

  • Be in a supervisory, team leader or junior management role.
  • Have responsibility for operational activities, people or resources.
  • Demonstrate communication and problem-solving skills at SCQF Level 7 or equivalent.

This course is particularly suitable for:

  • Operational supervisors and managers.
  • Team leaders with broader organisational responsibility.
  • Employees progressing into middle-management roles.
  • Learners who have completed a PDA or SVQ at SCQF Level 7.

Progression opportunities

On successful completion of this qualification, learners may progress to:

  • PDA or SVQ qualifications in Leadership and Management at SCQF Level 9.
