To achieve the qualification, candidates must complete 8 units in total, consisting of 3 mandatory units and a selection of optional units chosen to reflect their role and workplace context.

Mandatory Units include:

  • Undertake Work in a Business Environment.
  • Prepare to Communicate in a Business Environment.

Optional Units may include (selection):

  • Work with Other People in a Business Environment.
  • Produce or Design Documents in a Business Environment.
  • Collate and Organise Data.
  • Support the Organisation of Meetings, Events, and Business Travel.
  • Provide Reception Services and Meet and Welcome Visitors.
  • Handle Mail, Maintain Stock, and Use Diary Systems.
  • Administer HR Records and Recruitment Processes.
  • Use Digital Tools for email, documents, spreadsheets, presentations and online collaboration.
  • Support Organisational Projects and Customer Service Activities.
