Borders College Update - Friday 10th March 2023
We plan to open all Borders College Campuses as normal today.
The decision to travel to college is ultimately the individual’s responsibility. If you deem it safe to travel, then Borders College will be open.
The majority of students travel to College on public service bus routes and each of the bus companies will make the decision on whether or not they can run their services safely or not. The bus companies will normally communicate any cancellation of service via Radio Borders or their own websites.
Should conditions begin to deteriorate during the College day, a decision to send students home will be taken in conjunction with the Council’s Winter Control team, which includes the police and the various bus companies.
