Borders College and Scotland’s Rural College (SRUC) are offering a course aimed at upskilling or reskilling those who work in tourism, hospitality, or the events sector. The ‘THE (Tourism, Hospitality & Events) Skills Programme for Scotland’.

The award has been developed with the specific aim to support the economic recovery of establishments within Tourism, Hospitality and Events sectors within Scotland, by further developing the practical skill sets of owners, managers and supervisors, and in addition, to assist the career progression of customer-facing staff who are employed, or aspire to employment, within the wider visitor economy sector.

This course is being offered FREE by Borders College & SRUC.

Starting on 14th February 2022, participants will have the opportunity to update their skills and knowledge by enrolling for two online units: Customer Care and/or Preparing Financial Records and Forecasts.

No attendance at college is required as all learning will be completed online and can be completed in 4 weeks.
