300 users rate Borders College website highly in latest survey

The Borders College website continues to perform strongly, with new survey results showing high levels of satisfaction among users.

The 2026 website survey gathered feedback from 300 respondents, offering a clear picture of how visitors experience the site when searching for courses, applying, and finding information. Overall satisfaction across the website scored an average of 4.46 out of 5, reflecting a very positive experience for users.

One of the strongest results was the course search function, with 96% of respondents saying they could easily find the option to search for a course. This confirms that the website is performing very well in its most important role of helping people explore learning opportunities at Borders College.

The journey from browsing to taking action is also working well. 91% of respondents said they could easily find the option to apply or make an enquiry, helping potential students move quickly from interest to application.

  • Users also responded positively to the overall design of the site, with 93% saying the website’s look and feel reflects the Borders College brand. Many open comments highlighted the clear layout, simple navigation, and the ability to quickly locate key information.

Across the survey responses, many users described the website as easy to use and well organised, with clear course information and helpful links to apply or get in touch.

While the feedback was overwhelmingly positive, the survey also identified opportunities to make further improvements, particularly around navigation to secondary information and news content. These areas still received positive ratings of 76.3% and 77.7%, but will help guide the next stage of website development.

A College spokesperson commented:
“We are really pleased to see such strong feedback from the 300 people who took part in the survey. The results show that the website is doing its job by helping people quickly find courses, explore their options and take the next step.

“We will continue to refine the experience so that visitors can access even more information easily. I would encourage anyone thinking about studying with us to visit the website and see the wide range of opportunities available.”
